New Eclipse Portals Opening - Prepare for Change with the Ancient Art of Forest Bathing

Eclipse season is incoming, and I have some simple remedies to support you to navigate these challenging changes with grace. This writing is full of healing remedies and protection for these changes in nature that are upon us...

The lunar nodes have been transiting the Aries and Libra axis for the past 18 months, which left us with war. They have now entered the Virgo/Pisces axis for the following 18 months. The lunar nodes are the points in the sky of the location of the eclipses and represent the ancient stories of the dragon who snuck in to the ritual of the drinking of the ambrosia of the gods. He stole the nectar, then in attempt to stop him he was cut in half with a sword, but it was too late. He had already drank the nectar and received immortality. The north node, also known as Rahu, is the head of the dragon and the south node, Ketu, is the tail. These positions in the sky of the points where the solar and lunar eclipses happen represent our fate, karma and destiny.

The ancients observed these points of unexpected change as malevolent. During ancient times only the astrologer would look at the eclipse for the omens of what it would bring because it was always observed that nefarious energies were strong and prevalent when the Light was blocked.

The ancients would go into the temples or into their homes to pray and meditate during an eclipse, which I also recommend. From my own personal observations, for most people, I advise fasting and not leaving food or drink open to the air during the brief passing of the eclipse if it's in your sky, and not driving or operating any dangerous tools or machinery.

The first solar eclipse will be seen over the Americas on October 14 at the highest point in the sky, having a strong affect on this path of observation. With the north node shifting into Pisces beware of disasters related to water, and the south node triggering earthquakes and challenges with harvests and especially grains while in Virgo.

The south node in Virgo may also affect Greece, Armenia, Egypt and Japan. The north node in Pisces affects North Africa, Algeria, Lybia and Morroco.

This first eclipse in Virgo can destroy agriculture, fruits of labor and fruits of earth. Challenges with producing food can consequentially raise prices. This can affect the fruits of the earth, with challenges for agriculture for 2 years following.

This can also cause a letting go, failure, release or purge for those who are writers, scientists and scholars and the part of the working class of society associated with them. Projects concerning education and systems of education can encounter failures or challenges. Those with unlimited power over others can become afflicted and angry. The eclipse is happening only 3 degrees from the fixed star Spica, portending some important event for those high in spiritual orders. They can suffer from danger, illness and conflicts between what is right and wrong. This is for their learning.

Humanity can feel challenges with eclipses in the sign of the human shape of the Virgo. This is all for our learning. Take extra care of your health and gain extra protection through your spiritual embodiment practice, and primarily use your intuition rather than trusting in those who are in seeming intellectual and scientific authority.

If you have an important planet or point in your horoscope near the fixed star Spica, this pertains to you specifically. These are necessary events that are for our learning and evolution.

If you were born with the lunar nodes near an important planet or point, this entire prediction can be completely reversed for you personally. You can be literally immune to the malevolent eclipse energy and can receive rewards in the areas affected by them.

I am offering a lunar node personal analysis only during October until spaces fill up. This is a special consultation to discover your fate/destiny, what karmic lessons are being triggered in this lifetime from the past, and how the eclipses are affecting your life personally over the next 2 years, plus how you can best work with them on a very personal level for your development and evolution. The inner world always affects the outer world.

As always, all of my consultations are oriented towards using your personal astrological soul blueprint with the changing cycles to affect your specific personal growth. This type of awareness and strategy that uses the royal science of astrology has a profound lifetime affect on your environment, your loved ones and your legacy. "With key awareness and the right strategies in connection with your right spiritual practices, you can live above the stars", as my teacher says.

As a simple remedy for all, deeply immersing yourself with the feminine aspects of divinity with these nodes shifting into the feminine earth and water elements will provide protection and grace. I invite you to continue reading on to learn how and why to immerse yourself in the Japanese healing art of forest bathing.

Read on to learn to make this healing shift literally at any moment, no matter how far from an actual forest you may be!

Here I am with two of my children and my father, forest bathing in the rejuvenating Rocky Mountain forests last week.

Much Love and joy to you,

Tammy

Discover the Power of Shinrin-Yoku

Shinrin-yoku, "forest bathing" or "taking in the forest atmosphere," is a therapeutic practice rooted in Japan, but of course, we can all enjoy it no matter where we live. It involves immersing yourself deeply in a natural environment, typically a forest, and mindfully experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of the forest. Unlike a traditional hike, shinrin-yoku is not about covering distance but about being present in the moment and fully engaging your senses with nature. John Muir who was known as the “Father of National Parks” once said, “Keep close to nature’s heart…and break clear away once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”

Watch this video to return yourself to the remembrance of the forest at any moment!

Some Benefits of Shinrin-Yoku

  • Reduced Stress, Anxiousness, and Cortisol Levels: The art of forest bathing or shinrin- yoku has been scientifically proven to reduce stress hormone levels and promote relaxation. The calming environment of the forest, combined with mindful breathing and a break from digital distractions, helps lower cortisol levels and alleviate anxiousness. According to an article on the NIH National Library of Medicine website, from 2005-2006, several studies were conducted in 24 different forest areas in Japan. The results of those studies performed on the effects of shinrin-yoku on individuals, show that natural forest settings can lower concentrations of cortisol, lower pulse rate, lower blood pressure, increase parasympathetic nerve activity, and lower sympathetic nerve activity compared with more urban environments.

  • Improved Mood and Mental Clarity: Spending time in nature has been linked to improved mood and cognitive function. Forest bathing can enhance creativity, boost mood, and increase overall mental clarity.

  • Enhanced Immune Function: Some studies suggest that shinrin-yoku may strengthen the immune system. Breathing in phytoncides, natural compounds released by trees, can potentially increase the production of (NK) natural killer cells in the body. A study by Byun et al. (2014) found that green space exposure was associated with epigenetic changes related to inflammation and immune function.

  • Better Sleep: Regular practice of shinrin-yoku may help regulate sleep patterns and improve sleep quality. Exposure to natural light during the day and the calming effects of nature contribute to better rest.

  • Connection to Nature: Perhaps one of the most profound benefits of shinrin-yoku is the reconnection to the natural world. It fosters a deep appreciation for the environment, leading to more sustainable and eco-conscious living. Referring to shinrin-yoku, Dr. Qing Li, a prominent shinrin-yoku researcher stated, “Indoors, we tend to use only two senses, our eyes and our ears. Outside is where we can smell the flowers, taste the fresh air, look at the changing colours of the trees, hear the birds singing and feel the breeze on our skin. And when we open up our senses, we begin to connect to the natural world.”

Taking the essence of the forest with you wherever you go is made possible with doTERRA's Shinrin-Yoku Forest Bathing Blend. doTERRA, the most trusted name in the world of essential oils, has captured the spirit of the forest in a bottle, allowing you to experience the benefits of forest bathing even when you can't escape to the woods.

The Shinrin-Yoku Forest Bathing Blend is carefully crafted to evoke the tranquil essence of the forest. It contains a harmonious blend of essential oils, including Cedarwood, Ho Wood, and other tree oils, designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and create a sense of well-being. The Shinrin-Yoku Forest Bathing Blend consists of Certified Pure Tested Grade essential oils abundant in terpenes known for their association with forest bathing. Scientific studies have shown that diffusing essential oils rich in terpenes can create a serene atmosphere that encourages relaxation, concentration, and inner balance. Terpenes are a vital component of a group of compounds called phytoncides, which function as a defense mechanism in trees. These phytoncides encompass limonene, α-pinene, and β-pinene, all commonly found in oils renowned for their soothing and grounding fragrances. Whether you choose to diffuse this oil at home or apply it directly to your skin, you can enjoy the tranquilizing effects of the forest, regardless of your location.

How to Incorporate Shinrin-Yoku Essential Oil into Your Routine

  • Diffuse: Add a few drops of Shinrin-Yoku essential oil to your diffuser and let the aroma fill your space. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and visualize yourself in a serene forest.

  • Topical Application: Dilute a few drops of the essential oil with a carrier oil and apply it to your wrists, temples, or the back of your neck for an instant calming effect.

  • Nature Meditation: Combine the use of Shinrin-Yoku Essential Oil with meditation or yoga in a natural setting to enhance your connection with nature and boost the benefits.

Shinrin-yoku, the art of forest bathing, offers numerous physical and mental health benefits, from reduced stress and anxiety to improved mood and enhanced immunity, and many more. With doTERRA's Shinrin-Yoku Forest Bathing Blend, you can bring the tranquility of the forest into your daily life, promoting an overall well-being and a deeper connection to the natural world.
